Finance and Sales Team Dashboard for Laboratory Equipment Supplier

For the world's leading supplier of laboratory equipment, software and instrumentation, tracking key sales performance indicators at an executive level wasn't enough -- company leaders wanted sales data in real time and they wanted their entire US sales force to have access to it.

The company turned to BlueGranite for help. We began by expanding the reach of the data warehouse to incorporate all divisions of the combined corporate entity. We then designed and implemented a comprehensive dashboard solution using Microsoft
technologies including PerformancePoint, SharePoint, and SQL Server.

The result was real-time, web-based access to multiple levels of key sales information. Finance and Sales executives, for example, can monitor and respond to cumulative data -- drilling down to minute detail as needed. Field sales representatives use their information to manage individual transactions, performance and compensation.  This ensures quick response time when addressing customer needs.
