BlueGranite Counted Among Top Finalists for the 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards in Business Intelligence

KALAMAZOO, MI — June 24, 2009— Today, BlueGranite announced it has been selected as a 2009 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference Awards finalist in Business Intelligence.

One of three companies so recognized, BlueGranite was selected based on its success helping Grand Rapids, Mich.-based National Heritage Academies develop state-of-the-art business reporting tools to more effectively meet its goal of improved accountability and educational results.

“We’re extremely pleased to have our work —and the success of NHA recognized with this international award,” says BlueGranite president and CEO Matthew Mace. “It proves that a school system can benefit from the same strategic approach to business insight and information management that our customers in the medical, manufacturing, financial and retail markets use.”

Awards will be presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of nearly 2,000 entrants worldwide.  The Business Intelligence Partner of the Year award recognizes partners who provide scalable, reliable, and available data solutions that help customers make better, faster, and more relevant decisions for the business. Additionally, solutions that enable organizations to monitor, analyze, and improve business performance with Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server will also be considered for this award.
To be eligible for this award, recipients must:
• Be active in one of the two specializations of the Business Intelligence competency.
• First profile your nominated solutions in Partner Solution Profiler.

“Partners are the key to igniting business innovation through great technology as well as helping customer drive down costs,” said Allison L. Watson, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group, Microsoft Corp. “Congratulations to the 2009 WPC Award finalists who have demonstrated a superior level of expertise as well as a focus on delivering customer value. We look forward to seeing these partners fulfill their limitless potential as they continue to provide customers with world-class Microsoft solutions.”
