BlueGranite hosted an interactive session with Mark Gooch, VP of BI and Process Improvement for Life Care Centers of America. Over the past eight years, Mark has led the transformation of Life Care from a traditional “instinct-driven” organization to a “data-driven culture”, in which data is a key asset for improving patient care and operational excellence across the organization.

In his role at Life Care, Mark has responsibility for content management systems, business intelligence systems, financial systems, portal technologies, human resources systems and analytics. He is an internally-driven professional who enjoys collaborating with other hard working team members -- researching, designing, and implementing solutions that target inefficiency and process improvement. Gooch earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern Adventist University. Before joining Life Care in 2008, he held positions of increasing responsibility in the long-term care and financial areas. In recent years, he has leveraged his breadth of education, experience and leadership skills in service to Life Care, one of the largest skilled nursing organizations in the U.S.
